GUELFA56 is a convenient holiday apartment in the heart of Florence near Duomo, Accademia Gallery, train station / airport shuttle, Congress Area and main art sites in lively San Lorenzo area. It is a charming and rustic home for 4 persons where antique and vintage furnitures are combined with modern facilities and comfort as WIFI, air conditioning, brand new kitchen and bathroom. 

Located on the second and top floor of an Florentine typical building, GUELFA56 is a 50sqmt central apartment and holiday accommodation for 4 persons. It offers spacious and lightful livingroom with modern kitchen and sofa bed plus a double bedroom with en suite bathroom. The recent renovation has provided heating, air conditioning and WIFI, keeping a vintage flavour of a old rustic home in the heart of Florence close to Duomo Square, Santa Maria Novella Square and Piazza Stazione with rail station and shuttle bus to/from Florence and Pisa airport, and main art attractions. Ideal for leisure, business travel and art holidays.

Entering the apartment, you find a bright and airy livingroom flooded with natural light with a modern fully equipped kitchen with fridge, traditional and microwave oven and dishwasher. It will be fun to shop fresh groceries in the market around the corner and ...cook Italian! The dining room is spacious and lightful with 2 windows. They are decorated with hand forged bars facing the street. I love leaning and relaxing by watching people coming and going on the road below while having my coffee.

The antique wooden table is perfect for dining and large enough as working space with a stylish lamp and plugs nearby for recharging. The large sofa bed can accomodate 2 persons sleeping on a 11cm matress of 140x190 next to 32'' screen TV. In addition a series of restored old barrels from Filippo's cellar (thanks my dear!) are convenient extra surfaces to use.

The arched hallway will lead you to the lovely and silent double bedroom facing the innercourt with direct access to the modern full bathroom with shower. We will arrange for you a queen size double bed (160x190cm). Twin beds also possible with advanced request. The 50's vintage wardrobe has a mirror and a hanging vertical closet inside. The four chairs and the chest will provide more space for your belongings. The innercourt is quiet and intimate. Although curtains are provided for privacy, while lazing or reading in bed I like to lift them up and watch the roofs where sometimes cats pass by and admire the sky with sunset coloured clouds.

At arrival we will provide bed and bath linen and tea and coffee facilities for a relaxing snack.
